Layton Juniors Football Club. Mission Statement.

Our mission is to provide the children who are members of The Club with the opportunity to play competitive football in the local area, in a safe and controlled environment, under the supervision of FA Qualified Coaches.

"Also, we aim to encourage everyone involved with the Club, in whatever capacity, to help our young players find enjoyment and fun in teamwork, through genuine effort and enthusiasm for the amazing sport of football."

Parents and Players

We would like to announce a new Development Awards Scheme which will help improve ball skills for all our players. This Scheme is in addition to the training sessions on Tuesday and Training / Matches on Saturdays, and will be run on Sundays 10am – 12 noon

The first course will be for 9 weeks from Sunday August 31st to Sunday October 26th and will focus on skills that make football fun, and will improve overall performance. On the final Sunday we will be testing the players on what they have learnt in 5 categories, and each category can be graded 1 to 7. We will have certificates and badges for those players who have passed and the badges can go on their training kit. These are Nationally recognised awards developed by UEFA qualified coaches.

Each week the players will be given a little homework so they can continue to practice the new skills they have been learnt and perfect them.

The Price of the course will be £18.00 (£2.00 per session or £1.00 per hour) which should be paid on the day of the first session, August 31st
